2023 Operating Hours
In line with Council's Aquatic Management Plan, Council wishes to advise the summer season operating hours for Narrabri Aquatic Centre, Boggabri Memorial Swimming Pool and Wee Waa Memorial Swimming Pool as follows:
Narrabri Aquatic Centre Closed over the Easter break from Thursday, 6 April and will reopen Tuesday, 11 April.

Please note discretion is given to Council’s Parks and Open Spaces Manager to make minor changes to season start and finish dates, as well as the spread of hours. Major changes will be put to Council for review and consideration.
These operating hours are subject to change in line with any NSW Government COVID-19 restrictions in place at any given time.
The following applies to all Narrabri Shire Pools
- Open from 12.00pm - 6.00pm on Summer Season Public Holidays
- Open until 5.00pm on Christmas Eve
- Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day
- Closed Good Friday to Easter Monday
- Closed all Winter Public Holidays
Admission Fees
Please refer to Council’s Fees and Charges for current admission fees. All prices are inclusive of GST.
Passes must be presented on entry or single entry fee must be paid
- Children under the age of 10 years must be actively supervised at all times by a responsible person over the age of 16.
- Concession available on presentation of Pension Card.
Pool availability
Narrabri Shire Council is committed to providing continued support to our local schools and swimming clubs.
To assist you with the availability of the swimming pool, please contact Narrabri Aquatic Centre on 02 6799 6782. Staff will check the bookings calendar for you.
Bookings
Currently there is no charge for holding an event at the swimming pool. However, for events that require the use of the pool fees for facility hire, lane hire and multipurpose room hire may apply. Only approved clubs and schools are able to hold events at no cost, please refer to Council’s Fees and Charges for further information.
To assist with the availability of the swimming pool, please contact Narrabri Aquatic Centre on 02 6799 6782 and staff will confirm availability for your requested date. You will then be required to complete the All Pools Activity Booking Form and provide relevant copies of insurance, a COVID-safe Plan and Risk Assessment documentation. Completed forms and supporting documentation must be returned to Council at least one month prior to the booking. Your request will then be reviewed and processed by the Facilities Coordinator or Swimming Pool Team Leader and the outcome advised to you. Please note bookings will not be confirmed on the spot or over the phone.
