Narrabri Landfill and Rural Transfer Stations have New Hours of Operation, Fees and Charges.
ALL SITES ARE CLOSED Good Friday, Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Narrabri Landfill and Rural Transfer Stations Information
Waste motor oil disposal
Waste motor oil collection stations are present at all of Council’s waste facilities for the disposal of small containers of motor oil at no charge. They are not to be used for the disposal of used cooking oil.
Narrabri Waste Management Facility
The Narrabri Waste Management Facility is located at intersection of Yarrie Lake Road and Dump Road, Narrabri.
PLEASE NOTE the Community Recycling Centre is located 73 Dump Road, Narrabri and is separate from the Narrabri Landfill.
Hours
8.00am to 5:00pm (7 days a week)
Fees and Charges for the Garbage Tips and the disposal of particular items can be found in Council's Fees and Charges.
Disposing of X-ray films
Household quantities of X-rays film can be disposed in the Narrabri Community Recycling Centre. X-ray films contain silver in the form of halides, which can be extracted and converted into pure silver and should be disposed of correctly. This service is provided free of charge at Narrabri Landfill.
Rural Transfer Stations
Boggabri
The Boggabri Transfer Station is located at 138 Aerodrome Road, Boggabri. The entrance can be seen when travelling just past the Boggabri Showground.

Wee Waa
The Wee Waa Transfer Station is located on the 162 Vera Leap Road, outside the Wee Waa town levee bank. The entrance to the Transfer Station is on the right hand side of the road when travelling from Wee Waa to Pilliga.

Baan Baa
The Baan Baa Transfer Station is located on the right hand side of the Kamilaroi Hwy when travelling from Baan Baa to Boggabri.

The Bellata Transfer Station is located on the right hand side of Millie Road when travelling from Bellata. Millie Road is well sign posted and can be seen on the left hand side of the Newell Hwy when travelling from Bellata towards Moree.

Edgeroi
The Edgeroi Transfer Station is located on the right hand side of Shire Road 55 (Homestead Road), when heading west from the Edgeroi fuel shop. The turnoff for Homestead Road is at the silos on the left hand side of the road and before the Edgeroi fuel shop when travelling north towards Moree.
