Lillian Hulbert Memorial Prize

The Lillian Hulbert Memorial Prize was established in 2007 by Thomas Whipp in memory of his late mother, Lillian Hulbert. The prize is awarded annually to a Narrabri District resident aged between 15 and 18 who has shown outstanding achievements through an act of bravery or heroism, charitable work or academic or sporting achievement.

Nominations for the $10,000 Lillian Hulbert Memorial Prize are NOW OPEN for 2024.

Nominate a deserving young person aged of 15-17 years who has demonstrated an act of bravery or heroism, academic or sporting achievement or contributed to charitable work in the Narrabri Shire. 

Nomination forms are to be completed below.

Alternatively, forms can be collected from Council's Administration Building or the Narrabri Region Visitor Information Centre and sent to:
