Investigation and design works will start in February for the Yarrie Lake Circuit Road upgrade (pictured). Works are expected to continue for the next couple of months.

What we're doing

The environmental, geotechnical and detailed survey works will support the construction of 6.4km of Yarrie Lake Circuit Road.

This construction will include pavement strengthening, road widening for heavy vehicle use and dual passage, drainage improvements and minor level modifications.

Consultation with the community will take place once this initial stage progresses.

When

We will work between 6.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and, where required, from 6.30am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Works will start in the area as required and where the project and contractor allows.

Traffic changes

Traffic control will be in place for the safety of motorists and workers. This will include lane closures, reduced speed limits and alternating stop/slow zones.

Managing our impacts

If you're travelling in the area, please plan ahead (including wide-load and heavy vehicles), check signage and allow for delays.

Council and its contractors will endeavour to keep disruptions to a minimum in the work areas.
