Council will be carrying out essential maintenance work at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre, which will result in temporary closure of the 25-metre pool and splash pad.
The 25-metre pool and splash pad will be closed from 4-8 March 2024 to undertake planned works.
These works include repairing or replacing seals on the foot valves for the splash pad and 25-metre pool, replacing and rewiring the fire sensor in the 25-metre pool and replacing the impellers in the pumps as well as the power board.
The 50-metre pool will remain open during the works.
The Council understands the inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while this crucial maintenance work is carried out.
These works will help ensure that these facilities can continue to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all our patrons.
