Gregory LAMONT (returning)
Brett NOLAN (new)
Joshua ROBERTS-GARNSEY (new)
Darrell TIEMENS (returning)

Between now and late November, Councillors will undergo an intensive induction program to ensure clear knowledge of the workings of Council, understand their role and responsibilities and allow them to hit the ground running.

On Wednesday 9 October 2024, the successful candidates will officially become Councillors after they undertake either the oath or affirmation of office.

From here they will hold their first Council Meeting to elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, establish the Council Meeting Calendar for the next 12 months and resolve other priority procedural duties.

Interim General Manager Eloise Chaplain extended her congratulations to the successful candidates.

“Council has been eagerly awaiting results and now they’ve been declared, I look forward to working with our Councillors,” said Chaplain.

On behalf of Narrabri Shire Council, I congratulate and welcome the newly elected representatives”.
