Councillor Delegates for Committees endorsed

Narrabri Shire Councillors have been appointed to a range of committees for the next 12 months.

The appointments, which were endorsed at Council’s Ordinary Council Meeting of 26 September 2023, will see the delegates represent Council on the respective committees. Delegates are appointed in accordance with section 377 of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW) and are reviewed yearly.

“These committees include many hard-working and dedicated volunteers as well as business and industry representatives – all of whom contribute so much to our communities and our region,” Narrabri Shire Mayor Darrell Tiemens said.

“As Councillors of Narrabri Shire, it is a privilege to work alongside these members who help ensure our region remains one of the premier spots to live, work and visit.

“On behalf of my fellow Councillors, I thank all these respective committee members, and we look forward to working with you during the next 12 months.”
