Candidate Information Sessions

Are you passionate about your local community? Then becoming a Councillor to represent Narrabri Shire is your opportunity.

Narrabri Shire Council is hosting free candidate information sessions in Boggabri, Narrabri and Wee Waa. 

These sessions will be informal and interactive, and are an opportunity to hear about:

• Processes for registering
• Role of Council and Councillors
• How Councillors get elected and what will happen if you are elected
• Local Government in NSW
• What is expected of a councillor including skills and attributes required

NSW Local government elections will be held on Saturday 14 September 2024.
