Join us for the official Narrabri Shire Australia Day 2025 celebrations on Sunday, 26 January!

This year's Australia Day Ambassador is Ms Christine Mastello - NSW 2023 Local Hero Nominee, Founder of Southlakes Inc and the Community Hair Project. Ms Mastello will attend events in Boggabri and Narrabri.

Events are packed with excitement - from welcoming new Australian citizens, to a day filled with family fun activities.

Additionally, all Shire pools will offer FREE ENTRY! (Open public holiday hours: 12.00pm - 6.00pm).

BOGGABRI
Morning
Where: Sacred Heart Primary School, 57 Laidlaw Street
Time: From 7.00am
Program: Free breakfast at 7.00am and Australia Day celebration commencing at 8.00am.

Afternoon
Where: Boggabri Memorial Swimming Pool (free entry), corner of Laidlaw Street and Caxton Street
Time: 12.00pm
Program: FREE barbecue lunch and family fun activities.

NARRABRI
Morning
Where: The Crossing Theatre, 117 Tibbereena Street
Time: 10.30am
Program: Australia Day Awards and Australian Citizenship Ceremony.

Afternoon
Where: Narrabri Aquatic Centre
Time: 12.00pm
Program: Family Fun Day from 12.00pm.

WEE WAA
Where: The Namoi Echo Museum, Rose St
Time: From 7.00am
Program: Free breakfast from 7.00am, Australia Day celebration starting at 8.00am and entertainment.
