Narrabri Shire Council

Senior Citizens and Disability Services

Council offers a range of services to Senior Citizens and Disabled persons in Narrabri Shire and values them as important members of our community.

For Senior Citizens there are a range of community groups and clubs in Narrabri Shire to help this group form friendships and keep active in the community.

There are aged care facilities in the three major towns of Narrabri, Boggabri and Wee Waa. These facilities are in easy access or are adjoining the hospitals or health centres in these towns. There is also a range of Home and Community Care for those who wish to remain in their homes and maintain their independence.

The NSW Ageing Strategy can be viewed at www.adhc.nsw.gov.au/ageing
