Parks and Gardens
Narrabri Shire has the pleasure of enjoying fantastic outdoor facilities for its residents. Narrabri Shire Council manages the following parks and facilities for the enjoyment of its residents.

Baan Baa Park – The Baan Baa Park is situated in the village of Baan Baa and has children’s playground equipment.
Bellata Park – The Bellata Park is situated in the village of Bellata and has children’s playground equipment.
Anzac Park – Anzac Park in Boggabri is situated on the Kamilaroi Highway.
Rotary Park – Rotary Park is on the edge of the town of Boggabri and is situated next to the bridge coming in from the Gunnedah side of town.
Vickery Park – Vickery Park in Boggabri has an amenities block, picnic area, playground equipment, skate park, and an electric BBQ for use by the public.
Blanche Peadon Drive – The park area at the end of Blanche Peadon Drive has children’s playground equipment for local residents to utilise.
Cameron Park – Cameron Park is a picturesque spot next to the Namoi River. This park has a disabled toilet block, playground equipment and a boat ramp into the river.
Collins Park – Collins Park has a large oval used for Rugby League games and cricket. There is an amenities block and a new children’s playground with a shade sail.
Narrabri Lake – The Narrabri Lake recreational area is in Narrabri West. There is a walking track around the lake where you can spot many waterbirds. There is an electric BBQ and picnic area, playground equipment and a horse exercise area. Narrabri Lake now features a new Pirate Playground - a pirate themed playground great for interactive play.
Selina Street Park – The parklands in Selina Street adjoin Cameron Park and has scenic views along the Namoi River. The parklands have several picnic areas and shady spots.
Pilliga Park – The Pilliga Park is situated in the village of Pilliga and has children’s playground equipment.
Dangar Park – Dangar Park in Wee Waa has a toilet block, playground equipment, cricket nets and a an electric BBQ.
Ludowici Park – Ludowici Park in Wee Waa is situated next to the Town Pool and has a disabled toilet block and playground equipment for children.
Rotary Park – Rotary Park is across the road from the Wee Waa High School and has playground equipment. This park is a popular traveller’s stop for caravanners and tourists travelling on the Kamilaroi Highway.
Booking one of Council's Sporting Facilities, Ovals, Parks or Swimming Pools
Members of the community are more than welcome to use the Council maintained sporting facilities, ovals, parks and swimming pools. In order to cover public liability requirements and to save double booking an application form must be completed and submitted to Council's Community Facilities Section at least one month prior to the required date for use of the facility.
For use of Council's swimming pools outside official opening hours a minimum of three months notice is required as it will incur an unbudgeted expense and staffing arrangements must be made.
Please note that you are required to include a copy of your organisation's $10,000,000 public liability insurance with this application.
