The Crossing Theatre to stop highway traffic!
Advertising of events at The Crossing Theatre will be boosted with the installation of a new digital sign in Tibbereena Street which will be installed during June 2017. The signage will consist of a double-sided digital display board that should stand out and stop highway traffic.
“Digital signage is used by major venues across Australia and is recognised as an effective tool to promote events.”
“Whilst its primary use will be to advertise The Crossing Theatre events and attractions, the signage will be used to promote a variety of shire-wide events as well as welcome visitors and event attendees,” said General Manager, Stewart Todd.
The sign will be able to updated in real-time allowing quick and dynamic content changes not available in traditional print media.
“With The Crossing Theatre’s prominent position on the Newell Highway the new signage will provide the opportunity to promote not only to locals but to interstate travellers, showcasing the impressive variety of entertainment The Crossing Theatre attracts,” Venue Manager Trent Bruinsma stated.
This sign will allow Council to advertise events without spoiling the impressive façade of the building with a multitude of signage.
Council recognised the potential and prominent location of The Crossing Theatre for such a sign and made allocation for it in its 2016/2017 budget. The Crossing Theatre continues to attract high calibre events and has a full schedule for the remainder of 2017. The sign will see immediate use once commissioned.
“This new form of marketing will complement the existing marketing program The Crossing Theatre already has in place and will open up our entertainment venue to new audiences,” concluded Mr Bruinsma.
