Narrabri Shire Sport, Recreation and Open Space Strategy
Narrabri Shire Council is developing a 15 year forward plan to assist in providing facilities and services to the community that support participation in sport and recreation. Council has engaged ROSS Planning, a specialist consulting firm, to assist developing the plan.
ROSS Planning are keen to talk directly with representatives from sport and recreation organisations and the community about issues that are important to people participating in sporting and recreational activity. Council needs to find a balance between providing facilities and services and making it easy for people in the community to be involved.
Members of the community are invited to attend a workshop in their local town to discuss ideas around sport and recreation in Narrabri Shire. There will be further opportunities to provide input but it’s important to get involved early!
